ABOUT THE FOUNDER:
Laura Brady, founder of Brady Typesetting & Design started her career at McClelland & Stewart back in the days of SGML and paste-ups. She continued her trade experience at Penguin Books, where she was able to further explore the creative side of interior text design. Although she liked trade publishing, she wanted to explore new challenges in the world of corporate typesetting and design.To that end, she took a position with one of Toronto's premier typesetting firms, Moveable Type, and there was able to fine-tune her abilities, working extensively on corporate marketing materials and annual reports.
In 1997, Laura left to pursue her own goals and Brady Typesetting & Design was born. Today, working with several subcontractors and colleagues, Brady Typesetting & Design provides typesetting, interior text and cover design, production consulting and project management to a diverse group of clients in the trade, college, and corporate publishing industries.
